All requirements listed in the certification guide are checked and verified on site during the certification audit. For example, it must be possible to provide all certificates of analysis for each batch and seamless documentation of the production steps of a batch.

Wie funktioniert eine Zertifizierung?

Interested companies can obtain the certification guide from IG Hemp. In an individual online training session, all topics relevant to the company are then gone through. This is followed by an implementation phase supported by QPM von Kaenel or another consultant. When the facility is ready, an inspection date is scheduled to review all required criteria. If the company meets the requirement, the certificate is issued and the company is added to the list of certified companies. The company now has the right to advertise with the quality label Swiss Certified Cannabis.

Was sind die Kosten für eine Zertifizierung, was die laufenden Kosten für ein Unternehmen, welches das Qualitätslabel Swiss Certified Cannabis anwendet?

The cost of the certification audit depends on various parameters (e.g. number of sites, number of products, number of employees, type of operation – service or production, etc.) and ranges from 2,000 to 3,500 Swiss francs. Recurring costs consist of the laboratory analyses and an annual recertification audit.
